Anna Tulla is a music band from Petrozavodsk in Karelia. The band sings modern songs on Finnish, Vepsian and two dialects of Karelian language (North-Karelian, Livvi and Lude). Their music style can be called electro-dance.

The band Anna Tulla was created in 2007 within a project of youth association Nuori Karjala which has its objective to support native languages of Republic Karelia. Since the band was started it changed its members several times. Now there are to solists - Darya Kuznetsova (karelian) and Julia Maximova (vepsian). darya Kuznetsova and Daniil Trofimov write the music. Song texts are written by the former and current students of Petrozavodsk University and famous karelian poets. The band made already two albums.
The first album "Onnen tähti" (Lucky star) was made in 2008. The second album "Lembi" (Love, darling) was made in 2010. You can buy our albums on CD if you contact the band (see "Contact") or at Nuori Karjala office, phone: +78142260157 , www.nuorikarjala.onego.ru.

Darya and Julia who sings at the band now are the former students of Finno-Baltic philology and culture department of Petrozavodsk University. Darya graduated in 2009 and Julia graduated in 2010. Daniil and Darya write music and texts for the band. Texts on Finnish are written by Inna Nippolainen and Christina Korotkih, text on North-Karelian are written by Darya Kuznetsova and Maria Kundozerova, vepsian texts are written by Olga Zhukova. Some songs were writtn by other karelian poets: Zinaida Dubinina, Miikkul Pakhomov, Katri Korvela. You can read all the texs here. They are placed in the alphabetic order.
